Dialogue Practice

Lets put this to practice!

Lets look at and listen to a few dialogues and see all of this information in use.
Often, you need to ask someone their name or where they are from. Let’s take a look at a dialogue and see how this sounds in Michif. Practice these dialogues a few times so you get the hang of it.

Dialogue #1

A: Hi. How are you?
B: I am fine. What is your name?
A: My name is Amy. How about you?
B: My name is Ryan. Where are you from?
A: I am from Victoria.
B: Great. Me too. I will see you again.
A: Good. Take care.

Dialogue #2

A: Good morning. How are you (plural)?
B: I am good. Where are you (plur) from?
A: We live in Ontario. Where are you from?
B: I live in Victoria.
A: What is your name?
B: My name is Norman.
