John: Good morning, how are you today?
Mary: I’m fine thank you.
John: What day is it today?
Mary: Today is Tuesday.

Dialogue #2:

John: Good afternoon, how are you today?
Mary: I’m great thank you.
John: What day is it tomorrow?
Mary: Tomorrow is Wednesday.

Dialogue #3:

John: How are you today?
Mary: I’m so-so.
John: What day was it yesterday?
Mary: Yesterday was Sunday.

Dialogue #4:

John: What is the date today?
Mary: Today is January 10th.

Dialogue #5:

John: What was the date today?
Mary: Today is June 6th.

Dialogue #6:

John: What is the date today?
Mary: Today is November 7th.
