Appearing at over 50 events a year, Scott Ward travels as a fulltime stage hypnotist and speaker. Scott obtained his Bachelor of Education degree in Drama and Intercultural Education and is certified in Hypnosis. He is committed to assisting communities and conferences with educational and entertainment needs. Scott specializes in doing comedy hypnosis shows and speaking engagements full time in Canada and the USA.

You were a teacher before? Why did you quit?
I still am a certified teacher but I needed to follow my dreams. My classroom is across turtle island now and learning & education is everywhere. I call myself a full time Travel Teacher!
What are your future plans?
I want to continue doing what I love: Educating & Entertaining with Hypnosis. I was a Director of Photography for the film "Gabriel John" this past year with Chicken Horse Productions and it is being played at the Dreamspeakers Aboriginal Film Festival in Edmonton in June. I also have plans for my first book this year on a secret **Hypnotic** topic.
I've seen your show and it is awesome! Where did you get your humor?
My Dad is probably the funniest individual that I know and he rubbed off on me I guess! My dad makes everyone laugh around him and I hope to do the same throughout my life.
Is hypnosis a gift you have?
If education is a gift then - yes. I took drama and stage training, hypnosis training, lots of reading and watching other people do it. My mother always supported my stage presentations whether it was rap music, acting, or the healing arts like hypnosis.
When did you start performing the Native American Hoop Dance?
When I was 7 years old, I went to the local Selkirk Indian & Métis Friendship Centre and stayed with it ever since. George Bear taught me to hoop dance and passed on the traditional hoop dance to me.
Any messages for the youth?
Do what you love doing and don't stop till you make it! Exceed expectations!
What else do you do?
I enjoy making music with my Macbook Pro and video editing with Final Cut. I am now a converted "Mac user" and like to visit the Mac stores where ever I travel to. I enjoy being a father and teaching my boys my super hero knowledge.
